    Fox Hopyard Golf Club promises to complete the Triple Crown for Bill Sandri, the proprietor of Crumpin- Fox Club in Bernardston, Massachusetts and Fox Hollow Golf Club in the Tampa, Florida area, both award winning golf courses.
    Built by the Roger Rulewich Group, which includes former design and construction staff of Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Fox Hopyard is located in East Haddam, Connecticut adjacent to the Devil's Hopyard State Park at the junction of Routes 82 & 156.
    Playing at nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, this Par 71 layout has it all. Woods, meadows, water, wetlands, and wildlife combine to make this one of Roger Rulewich's most memorable designs. Added to this will be the talent of Richie Marcks, the former Greens Superintendent at Black Hall Golf Club in Old Lyme, Ct. Therefore, one can not only be assured of a great design, but also of a beautifully conditioned golf course as well.
    Our large Pro Shop will offer a full range of equipment and apparel featuring our distinctive "Fox" logo. Our Professional staff will offer both group and individual lessons on our expansive practice facility, and our Junior Golf and Caddie Programs promise to be well attended and popular with our youth.
    The Clubhouse, which will sit atop a 30 foot rock ledge, will have a commanding southwest view of the 9th, 15th to 18th holes, our practice area and a five- acre pond. Large, open decks, a sports bar, dining room, meeting rooms, and members' locker rooms are planned for this unique facility.

Fox Hopyard Residential Community

    For those who might wish to build a home in our 520 acre community (230 acres of which is deeded open space with hiking trails, picnic areas, etc.), we will have 53 fabulous home sites available for purchase on a "Residents Only" access road. This proposed single- family community will be nestled between open space and the golf course and provide panoramic views of the course and the Eight Mile River Valley.
